What Will Your Legacy Be?

Write HIS Answer…Work for God, my new employer…sign a “Writer’s Covenant” that I won’t give up…have faith and HE will make it happen…it’s not about the money!…I had just returned from the 3-day Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference and then heard in church yesterday Luke’s Gospel reading in which Jesus tells the parable of the rich man who worries he doesn’t have enough space to store his harvest and God replies ‘You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?’ Jesus says, “Thus will it be for all who store up treasure for themselves but are not rich in what matters to God.”

No coincidences in God’s World! I am grateful to GPCWC Director Marlene Bagnull and her staff, the agents and editors I met, and my new friends Connie, Elaine, Cecilia, Yolanda, Vicki and so many more for the fantastic experience I had at this conference – and the re-motivation, re-energizing, renewal I feel now to continue on my writing journey to do God’s Will by doing what I am uniquely called to do: write modern-day novels based on the fascinating stories in the Bible’s Old Testament – and most of all for the faith that God’s Plan for me will come to fruition so I shouldn’t be discouraged at the bumps in the road along the way!

I enjoy your blog, Michele. I too attended the Phila. Writers Conference. I picked up your business card from a table there. I am trying to network with other authors. Please feel free to check out my blog
( http://www.joannjoneswalczak.blogspot.com ) and leave suggestions, pointers, helps. Every little bit encourages and pushes us forward. Many thanks,
    Jo Ann
